: (1) The government of Nepal can receive international humanitarian and other assistance if it deems that international assistance is necessary to deal with the disaster situation in the country without delay from internal resources and means.
(2) If the situation resulting from the disaster is controlled and no further international assistance is required, the Government of Nepal may declare that the assistance as per sub-section (1) is not required.
